It's okay to laugh at me
I imagine I must look pretty funny
Weaving everything I can find
Into my cosmic nest
I'm glad I give the others some mirth
Watching my antics, my impeccability
Endlessly building and cleaning
Moving mountains for no apparent reason
Chopping wood and hauling water
All for the love of Jahweh's daughter
I am distilling a potent medicine
And strengthening the wheel of time
It's okay to laugh at me
For most of life we cannot see
And most aren't where they want to be
Yearning for what they cannot know
Weaving, weaving, weaving, weaving
I am happy knowing and believing
That I am participating in the creating
Of an excellent life for my descendants.
