A light upon my shoulders shine
Wings of bittersweet destiny,
Water translucent running
Off this starry mantle
Attests to my embracing
Of the cross.
Eternity, eternity...
Kissing me, and killing me
Funnels in and out of the moment
Touching all humanity
Descending from heaven like a dove
And remaining upon me.
Love is all there is
Is all that I can see
We must love one another
To reinvent reality
Making straight our road
And clearing the way for our children.
Look into my eyes and see
Listen to my words and hear
Follow my footprints
Through the desert to the water
Submerging yourself
In heaven's life community.
