Love's Lullaby

Hear in your heart the lullaby
The stream flow by
Flow by of life in time
A music box that chimes so delicate
And changes taking place, though we don't see...
The wind blows softly rustling the leaves.

Listen for the melody
Of mother singing to her child
Of father making mother wild
Children discovering, again, the elements of life
So softly music box of life I chime
This lullaby...

...And in the morning you will wake refreshed
And feeling glad to face another day.

Awake, my love, and you will feel
The dawning of awareness lazily
So soft and sweet, so sweet and soft
The comfort of your pillow you will leave, and seek me
In the strains of music flowing through your veins
Dear lullaby, I hear you.

Oh, flow through me, and let me feel
The harmony of everything
My fledgling dreams testing their wings
Will join the universal peal
Of ballerina bells dancing lightly
On the wedding cake of time...

...And come the night you'll sleep so sound
As thoughts of love go round and round.

Eternity, eternity... So softly music box of life I chime... Eternity, eternity...
