************************************************************************** This an interpretation of another artist's work. I make no pretense at * having created anything new. Copyright 1964 By Rod Argent Begin Here There's kind of a trippy thing going on here. The bass and the keyboard are making the music, but there's an invisible place where the guitar isn't - and that's where the chords are. In the intro, the bass is playing around Am and D, but the keys are doing an Am7 D D Dsus4 -- the guitar would be playing Am and D. The keyboard does many interesting variations on the chords, but the focus is "where would a guitar fit into this all?" Chords: D/F# Dm/F e |--2----1-- B |--3----3-- G |--2----2-- D |--4----3-- A |---------- E |---------- ********************************************************************** Notes on my "tabbing" method: * * *I have tried to simplify the communication of each song * the best I could. So, I'll generally only put chords on * the first verse and first chorus. If you see any chords * after this it is because there is some variation from the * original pattern, a bridge, or a solo. * * *I make every effort to include tablature for guitar riffs, * intros, outros, and any other bits that might best help * express the song. I don't generally include solos unless * they are essential to the expression of the song. * * *I will annotate any out of the ordinary chords, but any * regular chords that you don't know can be found on the * chord chart which is linked to the Songs page. * * ********************************************************************** I welcome questions, comments, corrections, etc... michael@cosmic-kitchen.com http://www.cosmic-kitchen.com
