    The F#m Thing is mostly just the bass hammering-down and pulling-
    off on the 2nd fret, low E-string.  Guitar mostly plays straight
    chords.  Echo is good on this one.  Austin Gunter points out that
    Cobain does the intro/outro by picking the strings between the nut
    and tuning pegs.
