Wandering Star
Portishead
B2 G7 B2 G7
B2 G7
Please, could you stay a while to share my grief
B2 F#7
For it's such a lovely day to have to always feel this way
And the time that I would suffer less
Is when I never have to wake
B2 G7
Wandering stars - for whom it is reserved
B2 F#7
The blackness, the darkness forever
Wandering stars - for whom it is reserved
The blackness, the darkness forever
Those who have seen the needle's eye know true
Like a husk from which all that was now has fled
And the masks that the monsters wear
To feed upon their prey
Wandering stars - for whom it is reserved
The blackness, the darkness forever
Wandering stars - for whom it is reserved
The blackness, the darkness forever
*Space* (verse)
Doubled up inside
Take a while to share my grief
Always doubled up inside
Taunted, cruel
Wandering stars - for whom it is reserved
The blackness, the darkness forever
Wandering stars - for whom it is reserved
The blackness, the darkness forever...
*Space* (verse, repeat & fade)

I think the G7 and F#7 chords are actually G2 and F2, but the
closest I can come on the guitar while including the low bass
notes is to make them 7th chords.
